No Bake Granola Flax Treats

Total Time: 16 mins Preparation Time: 8 mins Cook Time: 8 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 12
  • 1/4 cup smart balance butter spread (or butter)
  • 4 cups miniature marshmallows
  • 1 cup oatmeal
  • 8 cinnamon graham crackers, crushed (1 c)
  • 1/2 cup dried cranberries
  • 1/2 cup sunflower seeds, roasted
  • 1/2 cup flax seed, ground

Recipe

  • 1 melt butter in a large saucepan over low heat. add marshmallows and stir until melted and mixture is smooth, about 4 minutes.
  • 2 stir in oats, cracker crumbs, cranberries, sunflower seeds, and flax seed until thoroughly mixed.
  • 3 using greased hands, press into a greased 8x8 baking dish.
  • 4 cool completely then cut into 12 pieces.
