Oven Roasted Strawberries With Chantilly Cream

Total Time: 40 mins Preparation Time: 25 mins Cook Time: 15 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 3
  • 250 g strawberries, hulled, halved
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup thickened cream
  • 1 tablespoon icing sugar
  • 1/2 vanilla bean, seeds removed for use

Recipe

  • 1 preheat oven to 240°c fan-forced.
  • 2 place the strawberries on a sheet of baking paper in a small roasting pan & sprinkle with brown sugar.
  • 3 roast strawberries for 8-10 minutes or until the strawberries collapse slightly.
  • 4 remove from the oven and set aside for 5 minutes.
  • 5 whip the cream to soft peaks. add the icing sugar and vanilla seeds & beat until thick.
  • 6 spoon the strawberries and juices into a bowl.
  • 7 serve with chantilly cream.
