Oven Roasted Strawberries With Chantilly Cream

Ingredients

- 250 g strawberries, hulled, halved
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1/2 cup thickened cream
- 1 tablespoon icing sugar
- 1/2 vanilla bean, seeds removed for use
Recipe
- 1 preheat oven to 240°c fan-forced.
- 2 place the strawberries on a sheet of baking paper in a small roasting pan & sprinkle with brown sugar.
- 3 roast strawberries for 8-10 minutes or until the strawberries collapse slightly.
- 4 remove from the oven and set aside for 5 minutes.
- 5 whip the cream to soft peaks. add the icing sugar and vanilla seeds & beat until thick.
- 6 spoon the strawberries and juices into a bowl.
- 7 serve with chantilly cream.
