Ingredients

- 1 cup basmati rice
- 2 1/4 cups water
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon ground turmeric
- 1/2 cup frozen baby peas, thawed
- 1/2 cup dry roasted peanuts, chopped
- 1/4 cup green onion, sliced (green and parts)
Recipe
- 1 mix the rice, water, salt, and turmeric in a pot, and bring to a boil. cover, reduce heat to low, and simmer 20 minutes.
- 2 stir the onions, peas and peanuts into the cooked rice, and serve.
