Palak Soup

Ingredients

- 250 g spinach, blanched pureed (palak)
- 1/4 cup skim milk
- 1 tablespoon whole wheat flour
- salt
- 1/8 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/8 teaspoon nutmeg, grated (jiphal)
- 1 tablespoon crouton, roasted
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
Recipe
- 1 mix the milk, atta and keep aside.
- 2 measure the puree and add enough water to make 3 cups. bring to boil.
- 3 add milk mixture, salt, pepper and nutmeg, simmer for 4 minute.
- 4 pour into cups, sprinkle lemon juice and serve with croutons on the side.
