Palak Soup

Total Time: 20 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 10 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 2
  • 250 g spinach, blanched pureed (palak)
  • 1/4 cup skim milk
  • 1 tablespoon whole wheat flour
  • salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/8 teaspoon nutmeg, grated (jiphal)
  • 1 tablespoon crouton, roasted
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice

Recipe

  • 1 mix the milk, atta and keep aside.
  • 2 measure the puree and add enough water to make 3 cups. bring to boil.
  • 3 add milk mixture, salt, pepper and nutmeg, simmer for 4 minute.
  • 4 pour into cups, sprinkle lemon juice and serve with croutons on the side.
