Oven Roasted Chicken With Lemon, Garlic And Rosemary

Total Time: 55 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 45 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 1 -3 1/2 lb chicken
  • 4 lemons
  • 8 garlic cloves, peeled
  • 16 sprigs rosemary
  • 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • salt and pepper

Recipe

  • 1 cut chicken in half lenghtwise.
  • 2 place in large oven proof dish.
  • 3 squeeze juice from the lemons over the chicken.
  • 4 add the lemon to the dish along with garlic, rosemary, red pepper, salt and pepper.
  • 5 marinate for 2 hours, turning chicken a few times.
  • 6 preheat oven to 400 degrees.
  • 7 roast chicken for 45 minutes.
  • 8 can broil at the end for darker, crisp skin.
  • 9 cut into serving pieces.
