Picadillo Crescents

Total Time: 35 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 25 mins

Ingredients

  • 1/2 lb lean ground beef
  • 2 tablespoons sliced green olives
  • 1 tablespoon diced green chilis
  • 2 teaspoons roasted garlic
  • 1/2 teaspoon adobo seasoning
  • 1 tablespoon flour
  • 1/2 cup spanish tomato sauce
  • salt and pepper, to taste
  • 2 refrigerated pie crusts

Recipe

  • 1 preheat oven to 425 degrees. brown ground beef, olives, garlic, and seasoning 5 - 7 minutes over medium high heat, stirring until it crumbles.
  • 2 reduce heat to medium-low and stir in flour; cook one minute. stir in tomato sauce, salt and pepper; cook two more minutes, then remove from heat.
  • 3 cut each pie crust into eight wedges; spoon one tbsp meat mixture onto wide end of each wedge. roll up from wide end to point. place point down on ungreased baking sheet; curve into crescent shape. bake 12 - 15 minutes or until golden.
