Macadamia Nut Cream Pie

Ingredients
- 3 egg yolks
- 3 cups milk
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1/3 cup cornstarch
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 1 cup macadamia nuts, roasted and chopped
- 9 inches pie shells, baked
Recipe
- 1 combine egg yolks, milk, sugar, cornstarch, salt and butter. bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring constantly. boil for 1 minutes and remove from heat. stir in vanilla and macadamia nuts. pour into pie shell, chill covered with plastic wrap.
