Macadamia Nut Cream Pie

Total Time: 20 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 10 mins

Ingredients

  • 3 egg yolks
  • 3 cups milk
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1/3 cup cornstarch
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1 cup macadamia nuts, roasted and chopped
  • 9 inches pie shells, baked

Recipe

  • 1 combine egg yolks, milk, sugar, cornstarch, salt and butter. bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring constantly. boil for 1 minutes and remove from heat. stir in vanilla and macadamia nuts. pour into pie shell, chill covered with plastic wrap.
