Mary's Roasted Brussel Sprouts (3 Weight Watchers Points Per Ser

Total Time: 30 mins Preparation Time: 20 mins Cook Time: 10 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 6
  • 1 1/2 lbs brussels sprouts (the smaller the better)
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil, extra virgin
  • 3 tablespoons bacon bits, real
  • 3/4 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper, freshly ground

Recipe

  • 1 preheat oven to 400°.
  • 2 line a rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper (not necessary, but makes for easier clean-up).
  • 3 wash, trim and halve - or quarter - sprouts, depending on their size.
  • 4 toss sprouts with olive oil to lightly coat.
  • 5 stir in bacon bits*.
  • 6 season to taste with salt and pepper.
  • 7 spread sprouts evenly in one layer on baking sheet.
  • 8 bake for about 10 minutes or longer depending on how crispy you like them.
