Granola Bars

Ingredients
- 2 cups rolled oats (old-fashioned)
- 3/4 cup almonds
- 1/2 cup toasted wheat germ
- 1/2 cup honey
- 1 tablespoon light corn syrup
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup roasted sunflower seeds
- 1 tablespoon sesame seeds
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 cup golden raisin
- 1/4 cup dried apricot
Recipe
- 1 preheat oven to 350 degrees and toast oats, almonds and sunflower seeds for 15 minutes and then lower heat to 300 degrees.
- 2 grease a 9x9 glass baking dish.
- 3 heat honey, corn syrup, sugar, salt, and vanilla over low heat in a small saucepan.
- 4 combine with the rest of the ingredients in a large bowl.
- 5 press down in baking dish and bake for 25 minutes.
- 6 allow to cool completely before slicing into 8 bars.
