Peanut Macaroons (1924)

Ingredients
- 2 eggs
- 7/8 cup sugar (3/4 cup plus 2 tablespoons)
- 2 3/4 cups roasted peanuts, chopped
- 2 tablespoons flour
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Recipe
- 1 preheat oven to 325°f.
- 2 combine flour, salt and peanuts. set aside.
- 3 beat eggs.
- 4 add sugar and mix well.
- 5 add peanut mixture to egg mixture.
- 6 mix in vanilla extract.
- 7 drop by teaspoonfuls onto greased baking sheets.
- 8 bake for 15 minutes.
- 9 cool on rack.
