Peanut Macaroons (1924)

Total Time: 30 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 20 mins

Ingredients

  • 2 eggs
  • 7/8 cup sugar (3/4 cup plus 2 tablespoons)
  • 2 3/4 cups roasted peanuts, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Recipe

  • 1 preheat oven to 325°f.
  • 2 combine flour, salt and peanuts. set aside.
  • 3 beat eggs.
  • 4 add sugar and mix well.
  • 5 add peanut mixture to egg mixture.
  • 6 mix in vanilla extract.
  • 7 drop by teaspoonfuls onto greased baking sheets.
  • 8 bake for 15 minutes.
  • 9 cool on rack.
