Ingredients
- 1 cup rolled oats
- 1 cup jumbo oats
- 1/2 cup sunflower seeds, roasted & lightly salted
- 2 tablespoons sesame seeds
- 1/4 cup golden flax seed
- 1/2 cup hazelnuts, roasted and skins removed, coarsely chopped
- 1/4 cup almonds, coarsely chopped
- 1/4 cup sunflower oil or 1/4 cup canola oil
- 1/4 cup raw honey
- 1/2 cup golden raisin (sultanas)
- 1/2 cup dried sweetened cranberries
Recipe
- 1 preheat the oven to 140 c / 275°f.
- 2 mix together the oats, seeds and nuts in a bowl.
- 3 heat the oil and honey in a large pan until warm and well blended. remove the pan from heat.
- 4 add the oat mixture to the pan and stir well.
- 5 spread out on one or two baking sheets.
- 6 bake for about 40-50 minutes until crispy, stirring occationally to prevent the mixture from sticking.
- 7 remove from the oven and mix in the raisins and cranberries.
- 8 leave to cool, then store in airtight containers.

- 10 serving tips: serve the granola layered in glass bowls with fresh fruit and yogurt.
