Opryland Hotel Cream Cheese And Roasted Pepper Dip

Ingredients

  • 1 green bell pepper
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/4 cup cream cheese
  • 1/4 teaspoon worcestershire sauce
  • 1/4 cup onion, minced
  • 1 garlic clove, peeled and minced
  • salt, to taste
  • tabasco sauce, to taste
  • 1 tablespoon chives, minced

Recipe

  • 1 broil bell pepper, turning often, until skin has blackened.
  • 2 place in a small bowl and cover tightly with plastic cling wrap.
  • 3 cool; peel pepper and cut in half.
  • 4 discard seeds and membranes.
  • 5 dice pepper and put to the side.
  • 6 whirl next five ingredients in a food processor until smooth; season with salt and tabasco.
  • 7 transfer to a mixing bowl and add pepper and chives.
  • 8 cover and refrigerate until ready to serve.
