Microwave Spicy Nuts

Total Time: 10 mins Preparation Time: 5 mins Cook Time: 5 mins

Ingredients

  • 2 cups whole almonds
  • 1 tablespoon tamari soya sauce
  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne

Recipe

  • 1 spray a cookie sheet with pam and heat in microwave 2 minutes.
  • 2 meanwhile, mix together tamari sauce and cayenne with almonds.
  • 3 spread on heated cookie sheet.
  • 4 microwave on high for 5 mintes, stopping every minute to stir.
  • 5 spread the roasted almonds on a parchment lined cookie sheet(not the same one you used to cook.).
  • 6 cool a few hours or overnight to make sure they have dried.
  • 7 voila -- a very tasty and healthy snack.
