Ingredients

- 1 (3 1/2 ounce) bag newman's own natural light microwave popcorn
- 1 cup dry roasted salted peanut
- 1/2 cup raisins
- 1/2 cup chopped dried apricot
- 1/3 cup sunflower seeds
- 1/2 cup firmly packed brown sugar
- 1/4 cup butter
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
Recipe
- 1 preheat oven to 350of.
- 2 grease 14 " x 10" metal baking pan.
- 3 pop newman's own natural light microwave popcorn according to package directions. pour popcorn into large bowl.
- 4 add peanuts, raisins, apricots and sunflower seeds; mix well. set aside.
- 5 in 1-quart glass measuring cup, mix brown sugar, butter, honey and salt.
- 6 microwave uncovered on high for 90 seconds. stir well.
- 7 continue microwaving on high 30 seconds. it should be boiling. continue boiling 90 seconds.
- 8 remove from microwave and stir in the baking soda.
- 9 pour syrup mixture over popcorn mixture, stirring until mixed. place mixture into greased pan. bake 15 minutes, stirring once. remove from oven to cool and crisp. store in a tightly covered container.
