Ingredients

- 1 lb chicken breast (cut in strips)
- 1 lb ground sausage
- 2 medium onions
- 3 celery ribs
- 1/2 cup chopped roasted red pepper
- 8 pealed and chopped garlic cloves
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh thyme
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh sweet basil
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh oregano
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh flat leaf parsley
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 1/2 cups long grain rice
- 3 cups chicken stock
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
Recipe
- 1 1. brown the sausage and chicken in the oil.
- 2 2. add the remaining ingredients and simmer on low until most of the liquid is absorbed.
- 3 3. serve!
