Dijon Swordfish Steaks

Total Time: 52 mins Preparation Time: 40 mins Cook Time: 12 mins

Ingredients

  • 4 (4 ounce) swordfish steaks
  • salt and pepper
  • 3 tablespoons dijon mustard
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon honey (optional)
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tablespoon lemon zest
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon herbes de provence
  • salt and pepper

Recipe

  • 1 combine the marinade ingredients in a bowl. reserve half for cooking process. add swordfish to a shallow baking dish and cover with remaining marinade, toss til well coated. cover and refrigerate for 30 minutes.
  • 2 preheat the broiler. brush broiler pan with olive oil or cooking spray to prevent sticking.
  • 3 place steaks on prepared pan and broil on highest rack level, basting every two minutes. flip over after 6 minutes and continue cooking another 6 minutes basting that side every two minutes.
  • 4 serve with mediterranean style couscous salad w/ roasted veggies :).
