Cinnamon Roasted Almonds

Ingredients
- 1 egg (try egg beaters or just whites)
- 1 teaspoon cold water
- 4 cups whole almonds
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
Recipe
- 1 preheat the oven to 250 degrees f.
- 2 lightly grease a 10x15 jelly roll pan.
- 3 (i used my silipat sheet) lightly beat the egg ; add water and beat until frothy but not stiff.
- 4 add the nuts and stir well.
- 5 in a separate bowl, mix sugar, cinnamon, and salt.
- 6 sprinkle sugar mixture over nuts and toss to coat.
- 7 spread the nuts evenly in prepared pan.
- 8 bake in oven 1 hour, stirring occasionally until golden brown.
- 9 allow to cool and store in an airtight container.
