Pan Roasted Brussel Sprouts

Ingredients

- 2 cups brussels sprouts, trimmed and quarterd
- 1/4 cup water
- 1 tablespoon unsalted butter
- 1 ounce prosciutto, chopped
- 1 tablespoon banana pepper, pickled
- salt
- pepper
Recipe
- 1 combine: brussels sprouts and water in a saute' pan.
- 2 cover and boil, 3 minutes.
- 3 uncover and allow remaining water to evaporate.
- 4 move brussels sprouts to the side of pan.
- 5 melt: butter in pan and add prosciutto; saute until crisp, 2-3 minutes.
- 6 mix brussels sprouts with the prosciutto.
- 7 cook until sprouts begin to brown 2-3 minutes.
- 8 stir in: pepper rings and season with salt and pepper.
