No Waste Roasted Garlic

Total Time: 35 mins Preparation Time: 5 mins Cook Time: 30 mins

Ingredients

  • 2 heads fresh garlic
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

Recipe

  • 1 preheat the oven to 375.
  • 2 don't peel the garlic and leave the head intact.
  • 3 cut about 1/4 inch off the top of each bulb.
  • 4 put the garlic bulbs on a sheet of aluminum foil and drizzle with the olive oil.
  • 5 wrap the foil around the garlic and seal to make a package.
  • 6 shake the package to distrubute the oil.
  • 7 place the foil package, seam side up in a baking dish.
  • 8 bake until the garlic cloves are soft, about 30 minutes. the clove should easily be pierced by a knife.
  • 9 to use: squeeze garlic from the skins.
  • 10 store cloves in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 10 days.
