- 1 (2 1/2 lb) broiler or 1 (2 1/2 lb) broiler-fryer chickens, cut up and skin removed
- 1/2 cup reduced-sodium chicken broth
- 1/4 cup lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon butter or 1 tablespoon margarine
- 1 tablespoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon brown sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon dried rosemary, crushed
- 1/8 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper
Recipe
- 1 place chicken in an ungreased 13-in. x 9-in. x 2-in. baking dish. combine the remaining ingredients in a small saucepan; bring to a boil. remove from the heat and pour over chicken. cover and bake at 325° for 1 to 1-1/4 hours or until juices run clear, basting occasionally.
