Herb-roasted Chicken Breasts

Total Time: 40 mins Preparation Time: 5 mins Cook Time: 35 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 6
  • 6 chicken breast halves, with skin and bones
  • 3 large garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh rosemary or 1 teaspoon dried rosemary
  • 1 tablespoon fresh thyme or 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1/3 cup dry wine
  • salt & pepper, to taste

Recipe

  • 1 preheat oven to 375°f.
  • 2 combine garlic, rosemary & thyme in small bowl.
  • 3 arrange chicken skin side up in large roasting or baking pan and sprinkle with salt and pepper. rub with garlic mixture and drizzle with olive oil.
  • 4 pour wine into bottom of pan and bake until cooked through, about 30 minutes. remove from oven and transfer to broiler pan.
  • 5 preheat broiler and broil chicken until skin browns, about 3 minutes. serve.
