Muhammara

Total Time: 13 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 3 mins

Ingredients

  • 1 (12 ounce) jar roasted sweet red peppers, drained
  • 2 garlic cloves, sliced thinly
  • 1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 cup walnuts
  • 1/3 cup panko breadcrumbs (japanese breadcrumbs)
  • 2 teaspoons pomegranate molasses
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper

Recipe

  • 1 saute garlic in olive oil over medium heat until golden--approx 3 minutes.
  • 2 blend all ingredients in processor until coarse puree forms.
  • 3 season with salt to taste.
  • 4 transfer to bowl.
  • 5 serve with chips or crudite.
