Peanutty Energy Bars (no Bake)

Ingredients

  • Servings: 16
  • 1/2 cup dry roasted salted peanut
  • 1/2 cup sunflower seeds, roasted
  • 1/4 cup toasted wheat germ
  • 1/2 cup raisins (or your choice of dried fruit)
  • 2 cups rolled oats
  • 2 cups crispy rice cereal
  • 1/2 cup crunchy peanut butter
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 1/2 cup light corn syrup
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla

Recipe

  • 1 lightly grease an 8-inch square dish.
  • 2 in a large bowl mix together the first six ingredients.
  • 3 in another bowl mix together the peanut butter, brown sugar and corn syrup; microwave on high for 2 minutes, add in vanilla and mix well to combine.
  • 4 add in the dry mixture and stir with a wooden spoon to coat well.
  • 5 transfer to prepared baking dish, and using clean oiled hands press down the mixture in the pan.
  • 6 let stand room temperature for 1 hour before slicing (if you can wait that long lol!).
  • 7 cut into bars.
