Peanutty Energy Bars (no Bake)

Ingredients

- 1/2 cup dry roasted salted peanut
- 1/2 cup sunflower seeds, roasted
- 1/4 cup toasted wheat germ
- 1/2 cup raisins (or your choice of dried fruit)
- 2 cups rolled oats
- 2 cups crispy rice cereal
- 1/2 cup crunchy peanut butter
- 1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
- 1/2 cup light corn syrup
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
Recipe
- 1 lightly grease an 8-inch square dish.
- 2 in a large bowl mix together the first six ingredients.
- 3 in another bowl mix together the peanut butter, brown sugar and corn syrup; microwave on high for 2 minutes, add in vanilla and mix well to combine.
- 4 add in the dry mixture and stir with a wooden spoon to coat well.
- 5 transfer to prepared baking dish, and using clean oiled hands press down the mixture in the pan.
- 6 let stand room temperature for 1 hour before slicing (if you can wait that long lol!).
- 7 cut into bars.
