Italian Chickpea Spread (hummus)

Ingredients

  • 1/3 cup pine nuts, toasted
  • 1 (15 ounce) can chickpeas, drained
  • 1/2 cup roasted red pepper
  • 1 -4 garlic clove
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1/3 cup basil leaves
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
