Italian Marinated Flank Steak

Ingredients

- 2 tablespoons italian salad dressing mix (wildtree italian salad dressing mix)
- 1/4 cup red wine vinegar
- 2 -3 tablespoons roasted garlic grapeseed oil
- 1 teaspoon dijon mustard
- 2 lbs beef flank steak
- 1 medium red bell pepper (sliced into thin strips )
- 1 medium green bell pepper (sliced into thin strips )
- 1/2 large onion (sliced into strips)
Recipe
- 1 combine all ingredients in a freezer bag. remove air and either marinate 2 hours or freeze.
- 2 defrost bag in fridge. preheat gas grill to high heat. grill steak 6 to 7 minutes per side (or broil in oven).
- 3 remove steak from grill and let rest 5 minutes before slicing to preserve juices.
- 4 while steak is cooking, cook peppers and onions in remaining dressing in a large skillet until tender.
- 5 thinly slice meat on an angle, cutting across the grain. serve with sautéed peppers and onions.
