Nuts To You

Total Time: 25 mins Preparation Time: 15 mins Cook Time: 10 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 10
  • 1 cup raw pecans
  • 1 cup raw walnuts
  • 1 cup whole almond
  • 5 tablespoons peanut oil (canola works too)
  • 1 1/2 cups brown sugar
  • 3/4 teaspoon sea salt or 3/4 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1 tablespoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon cayenne
  • 1 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin

Recipe

  • 1 preheat oven to 325 degrees.
  • 2 place the nuts in a zip lock bag along with the oil, and shake them up to coat well.
  • 3 in a large bowl, combine the rest of the ingredients.
  • 4 open the bag and pour the nuts out into the spice mix, stirring until very well coated.
  • 5 spread nuts in a single layer on baking sheet or sheets.
  • 6 bake about 10 minutes until nuts are lightly golden and roasted.
  • 7 cool to room temperature.
