Ingredients

- 1 cup raw pecans
- 1 cup raw walnuts
- 1 cup whole almond
- 5 tablespoons peanut oil (canola works too)
- 1 1/2 cups brown sugar
- 3/4 teaspoon sea salt or 3/4 teaspoon kosher salt
- 1 tablespoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon cayenne
- 1 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin
Recipe
- 1 preheat oven to 325 degrees.
- 2 place the nuts in a zip lock bag along with the oil, and shake them up to coat well.
- 3 in a large bowl, combine the rest of the ingredients.
- 4 open the bag and pour the nuts out into the spice mix, stirring until very well coated.
- 5 spread nuts in a single layer on baking sheet or sheets.
- 6 bake about 10 minutes until nuts are lightly golden and roasted.
- 7 cool to room temperature.
