Roasted Asparagus With Lemon

- 1 1/2 lbs asparagus
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/8 teaspoon pepper
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1/2 teaspoon lemon zest
- 6 thin lemon slices
Recipe
- 1 preheat oven to 475. snap off ends of asparagus and spread on rimmed baking sheet.
- 2 pour oil over asparagus and toss to coat.
- 3 season with salt and pepper.
- 4 roast 8-10 minutes, turning once, until asparagus is tender and begins to caramelize.
- 5 transfer to a serving dish, toss with lemon juice and zest and garnish with lemon slices.
