Peanuts With Indian Spices

Total Time: 40 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 30 mins

Ingredients

  • 6 cups unsalted dry-roasted peanuts
  • 3 tablespoons black sesame seeds
  • 3 large egg whites
  • 2 tablespoons ground coriander
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon ground cumin
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground red pepper

Recipe

  • 1 preheat ove to 300.
  • 2 combine coriander, brown sugar, cumin, salt, black pepper and red pepper in a small bowl.
  • 3 beat egg whites in a medium bowl for 1 minute or until frothy. add spice mixture, peanuts and black sesame seeds and stir well.
  • 4 spread on silpat in a pan in single layer, use 2 if needed.
  • 5 bake for 30 minutes or until nuts are dry and roasted, stirring occasionally.
  • 6 cool completely.
