Peanut Brittles

Total Time: 40 mins Preparation Time: 15 mins Cook Time: 25 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 2
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup roasted peanuts (unsalted)
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter

Recipe

  • 1 remove the skin of the roasted peanuts.
  • 2 grease a metal plate with little oil and keep aside.
  • 3 in a heavy saucepan, add sugar and moist it with 5 tbsp of water.
  • 4 cook and keep mixing on a low flame till the sugar turns into a light brown caramel.
  • 5 add the peanuts into the caramel and mix them quickly.
  • 6 drop in the pat of butter and stir.
  • 7 quickly pour the sticky mixture onto the greased plate.
  • 8 allow it to cool and set.
  • 9 break into small pieces and serve.
