Hummus

Total Time: 10 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 10
  • 1 (15 ounce) can chickpeas
  • 1/2 cup roasted sunflower seeds
  • 2 lemons, juice of
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional)
  • salt and pepper, to taste

Recipe

  • 1 drain chick peas, reserving 1/2 cup of liquid.
  • 2 combine all ingredients in blender.
  • 3 blend until all ingredients are smooth, adding the liquid if needed to thin.
  • 4 drizzle with olive oil.
  • 5 serve with triangles of warmed pita bread and fresh veggies.
