Ingredients

- 1 (15 ounce) can chickpeas
- 1/2 cup roasted sunflower seeds
- 2 lemons, juice of
- 2 cloves garlic
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional)
- salt and pepper, to taste
Recipe
- 1 drain chick peas, reserving 1/2 cup of liquid.
- 2 combine all ingredients in blender.
- 3 blend until all ingredients are smooth, adding the liquid if needed to thin.
- 4 drizzle with olive oil.
- 5 serve with triangles of warmed pita bread and fresh veggies.
