- 1 (15 ounce) can chickpeas
- 2 tablespoons chickpea liquid
- 1/2 cup hazelnut meal (flour or ground roasted hazelnuts)
- 1/8 cup lemon juice
- 1/8-1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional)
- 1/2 cup olive oil
- 1/2 tablespoon garlic
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
