Kalamata Olives With Roasted Garlic

Ingredients
- 2 heads garlic
- 2 1/2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 cups kalamata olives, pitted
- 1/2 cup marsala wine
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh rosemary or 1 1/2 teaspoons dried rosemary
- 1 teaspoon cracked peppercorn
- french bread or italian bread
Recipe
- 1 preheat the oven to 350*f.
- 2 separate the unpeeled garlic cloves.
- 3 place in a small heat-proof dish and brush with 1/2 tbls.
- 4 olive oil.
- 5 cover and bake for 15 minutes.
- 6 remove the skins from the baked cloves of garlic.
- 7 add the olives, remaining olive oil, marsala, rosemary, and peppercorns.
- 8 cover and bake for about 15 minutes, until the garlic is soft.
- 9 about 5 minutes before the olives are ready, wrap the bread in aluminum foil and heat it in the oven.
- 10 serve the olives with the warm bread.
