Oven Roasted Asparagus

Ingredients

- 3 lbs fresh asparagus
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 3/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon fresh ground black pepper
- 1/2 cup slivered almonds, toasted
Recipe
- 1 snap off and discard tough ends of asparagus.
- 2 place asparagus on a lightly greased baking sheet.
- 3 drizzle with oil and sprinkle with garlic, salt, and pepper.
- 4 bake at 350º for 10 minutes or until your desired degree of tenderness.
- 5 transfer to a serving dish and sprinkle with almonds.
