Oven Roasted Asparagus

Total Time: 20 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 10 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 8
  • 3 lbs fresh asparagus
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 3/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon fresh ground black pepper
  • 1/2 cup slivered almonds, toasted

Recipe

  • 1 snap off and discard tough ends of asparagus.
  • 2 place asparagus on a lightly greased baking sheet.
  • 3 drizzle with oil and sprinkle with garlic, salt, and pepper.
  • 4 bake at 350º for 10 minutes or until your desired degree of tenderness.
  • 5 transfer to a serving dish and sprinkle with almonds.
